In this day and age, there are many different types of storage products for digital information. In addition to there being many different types, within each type there are different products offering different capacities for different prices. This can make it difficult to find the right product at the right price.
Fortunately, gb4less is here to help make it much easier to decide. Digital storage products are essentially a commodity. There is very little to differentiate them other than the capacity and price. gb4less does both at the same time by using a Price per GB calculation for all of the products in our catalog.
By default, our product listings sort by price per gigabyte, and filter on those products that have an average rating of at least 4 (on a scale from 1-5) and have had at least 30 individuals rate the product. By purchasing the product with the lowest price per gigabyte, in combination with a good rating, you can rest assured you are getting the most for your money.
The savings you see displayed are based on the median price per gigabyte. To arrive at this value, we first calculate what the price would be using the median price per gigabyte and capacity of the storage device. The difference between that value and the actual price is what we display as the amount you save.
